Venture into the wild heart of Corcovado National Park! This two-day, one-night adventure maximizes your time at the renowned Sirena Biological Station, the premier location for wildlife viewing, while requiring minimal hiking effort. A great choice for families with kids, elder naturalists, or just for experts or photographers who are not interested in long hikes.
The shared boat rides to and from Sirena offer an incredible perspective of the Osa Peninsula coastline from the sea, with opportunities to spot dolphins, turtles, and even whales during their migration seasons (July to November and December to January). This experience allows you to explore deeply the Sirena Biological Station, the best spot for wildlife observation.
Accommodation is in shared, rustic dormitories featuring roofed wooden platforms with bunk beds. While basic and offering limited privacy, the comfortable beds are equipped with sheets, a pillow, and a mosquito net.
You'll have access to nice and clean shared bathrooms and showers (please note there is no hot water). Meals are served in the communal, open-air dining room, where you can enjoy typical Costa Rican cuisine and connect with other travelers. There is also a souvenir shop where you can buy cold drinks, coffee, and snacks.
