After some sightseeing, you will visit a women's weaving cooperative to learn about traditional fabrics and how to make worry dolls. Then, you'll head to Lake Atitlan where you will participate in a textile workshop and interact and learn the way of life and customs of its T’zutujil villagers.
You'll also get to explore the country's archaeological sites, learn about Maya cosmovision, and visit a local family for a cooking lesson in traditional Mayan cuisine. Finally, you'll end your trip with a surf or paddle board lesson at El Paredón Buena Vista – a beautiful beach town on the Pacific coast of Guatemala.
