In addition, 10% of the profits of all their tours go to Andean Sustainable projects that help local Andean communities.

  Andean Encounters organizes assemblies where they help Andean communities become aware of how many tour operaters break their laws by using their land to build hotels, which breaks up their lifestyle and the beauty of their lands. By working closely with these communities, they create tours that protect the land that Andean communities use and live on.
