The Napo Cultural Center is operated by the Kichwa Añangu community which generates opportunities for the sustainable growth of the community and stimulates local socio-economic development. By using ancestral methods of collaboration in both the community and administrative levels, they are able to efficiently coordinate and achieve their organization's objectives under ethical, professional, and responsible principles.

Environment
Within the territory that includes the Yasuní National Park, the community of Añangu has been recognized nationally and internationally for its work in favor of the preservation of the ecosystem and the environment, since it is a community in which hunting and fishing is banned. It was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1989. Here, you have the opportunity to see the 3 types of Amazon forests: Varzea, Igapo and Terra firme.
