San Cristobal el Alto is only a short 20 minute drive from Antigua. The 'Senderos El Alto' coopertaive arose from the great need to bring sustainable development to the village and was founded by a group of visionary and proactive community members. Activities in the community include hikes, tortilla making workshops, ceramics, artisan visits, and more. The community also has a couple restaurants to choose from.
