Environment
!Xaus Lodge is in a protected reserve and is almost totally off the grid. Water is pumped and purified on site and no bottled water is brought in. Electricity is only generated for a limited number of hours. Meals area arranged to meet guest dietary requirements so that only the food needed for the day is cooked. The !Xaus Lodge footprint is very low impact.

The lodge decor is filled with local art and the people who work at the lodge are members of the community. Local traditional crafters are given free access to the guests to sell their crafts.
