December to April are the driest months across most of the country, though you can expect higher prices. Based on certain places and things we wanted to do and see the agency created a personal travel plan for us. This way we could be sure how much we could fit in our time frame travelling by car. One of the reasons we had decided to go through an agency was that we are aware of the fragile eco system in Mexico which is something really special and beautiful to see. Our tours and activities were operated by locals and companies that also do their best to preserve nature. This is a nice way of getting to know locals and the country a little better. Before, during and even after our trip we were taken very good care of by Melina, our travel host. We were able to text or call her at any time with any questions we had!
