After being picked up in Oaxaca, arrive at the community of Llano Grande. Here, you will experience typical cuisine, observe the flora & fauna of the area, and have your first night's rest in a cabana.
After a delicious breakfast, you will hike from Llano Grande to Amatlan. About a 7 hour hike, this will be a relatively difficult as the elevation changes. Once in Amatlan, you will explore the community & museum .
Today, you will hike to Latuvi. Along the way, you will experience incredbile sceneries & wildlife. This area is full of biologically diverse wonders! In Latuvi, you will visit some traditional sites before gathering around a bonfire to hear about local legends. A great way to wrap up your last full day!
After another traditional breakfast, you will hike to Benito Juarez -- discovering the use of medicinal plants. To end your trip, a trip to El Mirador is necessary. After, you will get back to Llano Grande, and return to Oaxaca. Hopefully, you will be continuing your journey through Mexico elsewhere!
