This 4 day 3 night tour of Lake Huamanpata is a wonderful opportunity to observe this unique lake that is only available a few months out of the year. During the rainy season the area floods, creating a beautiful lake where you can take boat rides and go fishing. However, even in the dry season there are plenty of things for you to do; from a variety of treks to walking alongisde the river that is left behind after the lake drains.

During your adventure, you will be staying in Eco-Lodge Alpahuaman, which is the only lodging in this conservation area. This lodge's 4 bungalows, reception area, and kitchen was all constructed by the hosts, Roberto and Carmen, using local trees and materials. They've also planted over 600 seeds of Aliso trees in the area. This special accommodation adds to the beauty of this trip.
