You'll get picked up at the airport (or other location) and brought to your cozy, historic B&B in Mandeville. Connect with your local hosts, explore the town or relax in the beautiful gardens on the property.

After breakfast at the hotel and a relaxing morning, you'll head out to go village hopping in the central and south coast to learn to cook Jamaican cuisine alongside local community hosts. Try preparing Jamaica’s national dish – ackee and salt-fish with spicy callaloo, dumplings, bammy and fried plantain - and then enjoy the meal with the community! Sample some of Jamaica’s fruits in season at Porus village – naseberries, ortaniques, starapples, tangerines and so much more. Taste plantain tarts or coconut gizzardas from the community shops in Middle Quarters village, St. Elizabeth. Or even see a cooking demonstration of hot peppered shrimps, fried fish and bammy with Billy Kerr and his family.
After a full day of eating and connecting, you'll return to the B&B in Mandeville to relax for the evening. Dinner is on your own (if you are still hungry :)

Get ready for another day of exploring the real Jamaica! In one day you can visit many villages and discover the inner beauty of Jamaica. In South Manchester villages you'll discover many of Jamaica’s fruit trees and farm products and take a country walk enjoyng nature, the communities and sweeping views. Here, where the mountains and rivers meet the sea , you will feel both adventurous and refreshed.
Then travel towards Treasure Beach. St Elizabeth where you'll have lunch and discover the natural, rustic beaches near these local fishing communities. Wrap up the day with a visit to Lovers Leap in Southfield, St Elizabeth – on the edge of a cliff 700’ above sea level with sunshine, a refreshing breeze and the most spectacular view of the south coast of Jamaica.
Head back to the B&B for a relaxing evening. Dinner on your own.
