Danta Rainforest House

Flexible Stay |

Bring your family or group of friends to stay in this unique hand-built house in the middle of the rainforest. Set a short walk away from the main communal area at Danta Lodge, it's a great blend of privacy and comfort. You're only steps away from open-air restaurant and bar, but have your own hideaway out in the jungle with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and porch (with hammock of course!). The lodge is immersed in over 30 acres of primary and secondary rainforest so you'll be surrounded by the sounds of tropical birds and monkeys in the trees.

Danta Corcovado Lodge

Locally Owned Family Business

Danta Corcovado Lodge is a creatively designed, exceptional ecolodge created by visionary local community tourism entrepreneur Merlyn Oviedo. Danta offers a good homebase from which to explore much of the community tourism the Osa has to offer or simply some needed comfort in the hear of the Peninsula. For years Merlyn has been working hard to make sure his ecotourism success benefitted his local community by supporting his local school, promoting other community tourism projects around Danta Lodge, and offering mentorship to other young community members.
