La Amistad Rural Lodge

Flexible Stay | Eco-tourism, Community Lodge and Cultural Activities

Beautiful community lodge located in the midst of the international park La Amistad. The restaurant "Soda Arco Iris" run by the women's group is decorated with a breathtaking floral mosaic work made from broken ceramic tiles and recycled wine bottles showcasing the creativity of the Altamira’s community. Most of the produce used in the delicious local cuisine is from the area and 80% organic. The community offers tours that allow you to learn more about organic coffee making, hike through primary forest to observe the incredible diversity of native trees, birds, and felines, and swim in nearby hot springs and waterfalls.
