Highly recommended trip to Pueblos Mancominados

Very prompt pick-up for our trip to the beautiful Sierra Norte. On our first day we hiked to the zip wire and suspension bridge - nothing to be worried about as the zip wire was very safe - and thrilling ! We had the pleasure of visiting a local house for lunch , meeting the family and a lesson in tortilla - making . Our overnight stay in the cabins was very comfortable ( it gets pretty cold at night so ensure you have some warm clothes to wear ). We hiked the following day through the unspoilt landscape which was tough in parts but well worth the pain . Our guide Jonathon was knowledgable about the flora, fauna and community ethos . He was able to explain the ways of the community and their commitment to protecting the environment and each other. We thoroughly recommend this trip .Many thanks to Jonathan
