A Unique Story

The Solidarity Rural Tourism Association "Astursperu" is a non-profit association, founded on 01 June 2010 in the District of Capachica. It is aimed at promoting new tourism alternatives to generate sustainable development in the rural areas of the Capachica district and the Puno region, noting that tourism and solidarity are important allies to generate development in the rural areas that most need it.

Community Connection

Asturs Peru is a Non-profit association, with a dedication to management and social commitment. They are involved in a number of social projects, including their collaboration on developing communities with their partner, Culture Contact. In this project, these two associations help construct, maintain, and repair buildings to implement a new standard in the rural tourism industry throughout their neighboring communities.
Additionally, Asturs Peru strives to continue to achieve these goals:

  • To foster strategic alliances for the sustainable development of entrepreneurial families and the development of Solidarity Rural Tourism.
  • Promote and develop alternative projects to strengthen the Community Rural Tourism.
  • Promote the provision of community tourism resources, developing training programs and permanent technical assistance.
  • Encourage the active participation of women entrepreneurs and managers of the development of their community
