A Unique Story

The Farmers Association of La Amistad (ASOPROLA) tries to promote community development in harmony with nature. It creates processes and activities that lead to community awareness of the importance of living sustainably. Among the main activities are coffee production, organic gardens, honey bees, agroindustry of local products and Rural Community Tourism.

Community Connection

Revenues earned from the tours directly support the community's sustainability initiatives and provide additional income to members of the Association.

Environmental Engagement

ASOPROLA supported the creation and maintenance of a Biological Corridor in the community of Altamira de Biolley. They also share responsibility with La Amistad International Park in the maintenance of the trails, patrolling and participation in the fire brigade.
