A Unique Story

Coopesarapiquí is a nonprofit organization that brings together 137 small coffee producers as owners, located in the highlands of the canton of San Carlos and Sarapiqui, between 800 to 1000 meters above sea level. The main objective has been marketing and benefited from coffee production of its partners. The cooperative promotes values ​​such as honesty, solidarity and mutual aid. Sales of Coopesarapiquí coffee are registered with the principles of Fair Trade.

Community Connection

Proceeds from Mi Cafecito's tours directly support the Cooperative's efforts to the improve livelihoods of its members in the Sarapiqui community. They are working to increase market access for the growers and to support other micro enterprises in the area.
