Gal Oya Lodge is spread across 20 acres of private jungle where you can discover an ancient land untouched by time; a haven of serenity in which to reconnect with the rhythms of the earth. The lodge provides the perfect base camp to immerse in nature and explore the rich wildlife of Gal Oya, one of Sri Lanka’s most remote and least visited wilderness areas. During your stay, you'll head out with a local guide for a boat safari to try to spot elephants in their natural habitat. You can also arrange a walk with the Vedda community, one of the last remaining forest-dwelling indigenous people of Sri Lanka. Do it all while staying in luxurious bungalows and enjoying delicious meals.
