When to visit

The weather in Mexico is generally stormy from September to mid-October. December to April are the driest months across most of the country, though you can expect higher prices. November is a great month to visit Mexico, with the rains over and the peak season not having yet begun.

What you will be doing

Swim with whale sharks, explore Mayan caves, connect with nature and local communities in the South of Veracruz, and hike to the villages of Pueblos Mancomunados in the Oaxacan mountains. Best Ways to Get Around

If you are visiting only one region only you can rent a car, or take buses from one city to another. ADO is a reliable bus company and has different classes depending on what you are comfortable with. To visit several regions in Mexico there are domestic airlines that offer very comprehensive service. Aeromexico, Volaris, and Interjet are the biggest ones.

MEXICO by car

We had a lovely travel experience. Based on certain places and things we wanted to do and see the agency created a personal travel plan for us. This way we could be sure how much we could fit in our time frame travelling by car. One of the reasons we had decided to go through an agency was that we are aware of the fragile eco system in Mexico which is something really special and beautiful to see. Our tours and activities were operated by locals and companies that also do their best to preserve nature. This is a nice way of getting to know locals and the country a little better. Before, during and even after our trip we were taken very good care of by Melina, our travel host. We were able to text or call her at any time with any questions we had! Furthermore we had some nice experiences based on the agency’s recommendations nevertheless the trip always felt unique.

So fun and informative!

We had a phenomenal time taking this tour! We saw so many incredible animals, including tons of birds, manatees, and crocodiles! Our guides were knowledgeable, professional, and obviously committed to taking care of the bioreserve. They picked up trash on the beach we visited and educated us about safe sunscreen. The food was delicious: the tamale with bananas and beans was some of the best food I ate all week. This tour was the highlight of my week in Tulum!
