Explore the Mamirauá Sustainable Development Reserve located at the heart of the Amazon Rainforest during your stay in Uakari Lodge. This unique lodge consists of five floating bungalows, making it a great location to view the flooding of the forest during the rainy season. Fortunately the floods won't prevent you from exploring this region since the lodge provides canoe tours through the forest during this season. The Mamirauá Sustainable Development Reserve is the largest protected flooded forest in the world. While exploring this rich ecosystem, you will be able to see many animals such as the red-faced white uakari monkey and the black faced squirrel monkey.
