Perched on a hill 1840 meters above sea level you will be hard pressed to find more magnificent views of Volcan del Agua or the surrounding greenery that makes the Antigua region an renowned international destination. The bed and breakfast boasts three individual bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, and a separate guesthouse with four beds which can accommodate larger groups.

Casa Xicaya is indeed a hidden gem. It is nestled in the small village of San Cristobal el Alto. The room was beautiful and clean. The 'Senderos El Alto' coopertaive arose from the great need to bring sustainable development to the village and was founded by a group of visionary and proactive community members. Activities in the community include hikes, tortilla making workshops, ceramics, artisan visits, and more. The community also has a couple restaurants to choose from.
