Start your trip by making your way to the hotel in Tulum by arranging for transfer or car rental from the Cancun airport. (Note: Turtle season is from June to October. Outside of the season, the visit to the Turtle camp is replaced by leisure time in Tulum.)

Arrival in Cancun and (car rental pick-up or transfer, depending on the chosen option) we will head to our charming hotel in Tulum, located by the beach.

Rest of the day off to rest and enjoy our hotel and Tulum’s beautiful beach.

After our breakfast with a lovely view of the sea, we will have the chance to tour the beautiful Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.

We will reach “Paseo Lagartos” where we will take the boat for a trip to enjoy nature, dolphins, turtles, migratory birds, manatees, ospreys, and whatever nature allows! We will snorkel for a little while in a privileged enclave and will discover the different ecosystems of the reserve.

Back to our hotel and free evening.

Accommodation: charming hotel in Tulum.

Today we will have an experience of introduction to diving (if you are already a diver, please let us know and we will quote the option for intermediate or advanced levels!) in a beautiful cenote of Riviera Maya with a PADI instructor, where we will learn about these flooded caves and what relevance they have for us.

After this wonderful experience, if we go during the right season, we will head to Xcacel-Xcacelito to participate in the activity "Visit a Sea Turtle Camp", where we learn about these fascinating reptiles and we will cross our fingers to be able to experience the magic of observing the spawning of a turtle (June to August), or the release of baby turtles (September-October). We will also learn about the fantastic work of the team at the camp.

  • For the day, wear a hat, sunglasses, swimsuit, towel and if possible, a rash guard, to cover yourself from sun, as wearing sunblock is not allowed to enter the cenotes. For the evening, wear insect repellent.

After enjoying the last hours in our hotel, we will head towards Cancun Airport to return home or continue our trip to the next destination.
