This ancient city-state grew until it become a regional capital and the dinasty lasted until the beginnings of the 9th century. Also get the chance to visit the ruins of Bonampak which was governed by Yaxchilan. Bonampak is famous for the Temple of Murals, that contains 3 rooms filled with world famous murals. You will also be able to go on a boat tour through the Usumacinta River that borders Mexico and Guatemala.
