Your adventure will begin with a cycling tour in a scenic countryside of Chiang Mai. Stop at an organic tea plantation to discover how tea is grown, processed and transformed in a traditional way from tea leaves to tea cups. Then, enjoy white water rafting and a picnic lunch. The tour also includes a visit to an Akha village where you will have a chance to chat with the village shaman. One of my favorite experiences in Chiang Mai

I escaped the city for a weekend when visiting Chiang Mai, and my stay at Lisu Lodge was a much-needed relaxation. The lodge is beautiful, and it's a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the local culture and community.

Unique stay just outside Chiang Mai!

I loved this short getaway! The lodge is beautiful and so peaceful - it's your home base while you go on a variety of nearby adventures that are all run with locals from the Lisu and Akha communities. We did the easy bike ride to the tea plantation and got to meet the local Shaman. I'd definitely go back to explore more of the adventures! All the people I met were super friendly, the food was great and just loved the feel of the place. Overall, it's a great way to escape traveler-filled Chiang Mai and experience some of the unique cultures of norther Thailand!

Located in Mae Tang District, Chiang Mai, Lisu Lodge is about 40 minute drive from Chiang Mai city. You can reach the lodge by driving or creative use of local transport. The Lodge can also arrange pick ups in the city/airport in their private truck (for a fee).
