Itinerary
You will be picked up at your hotel early in the morning, and transported to the water. After boarding the research vessel, the team will brief you on the research protocols and what to expect. Heading out from La Paz we will hug the coastline, searching for whale sharks and stopping periodically to investigate. Throughout the day you will learn about the various science and research projects including photo-identification, population analysis, satellite tagging and genetic analysis.
