MARO Experiences was founded in March 2018 by Marielos, Miguel, Marlen, and Chris, four experienced professionals who have spent many years working to promote rural tourism and support sustainable, independent growth in local communities. The team is passionate about sharing the customs, history, food, and traditions of Costa Rica with travelers from around the world. Most of our providers if not all are provided by local entrepreneurs, small projects or rural communities. We believe that tourism can have a positive impact on communities sustainable growth.
