Spend a relaxing afternoon in the medicinal water of the Lares Hot Springs in this tour. The hot springs are a perfect way to end a tour that also includes visiting a local market, exploring the Ancasmara ruins, and spending time with members of the Maucau indigenous community.
8:30 AM: You will be picked up at your hotel in the Sacred Valley and start heading to the local market of small producers. 8:40-9:00 AM: At the local market you will get a brief explanation of its products and its vendors. After exploring the market, you will eat a light Andean style breakfast in the market. 9:00-10:40 AM: You will start heading to Lares and make a stop at the Ancasmarca ruins to take a short walk around the area. 11:30 AM-1:00 PM: Next, you will visit the Maucau indigenous community, where you will learn about their traditions and local living; including textiles, cooking, agriculture, and alpaca care. Afterwards, you will eat a traditional lunch with the community. 1:00-1:30 PM: After lunch, you will start heading to Lares hot springs. 1:30-4:30 PM: You will now be able to spend the afternoon relaxing in the hot springs. 4:30-6:30 PM: You will leave the Lares hot springs and start heading back to Calca. 6:30 PM: You will arrive at your hotel.
