Throughout the experience, you'll hike along the beach and into the depths of the rainforest as you head to Sirena Biological Station - a place dedicated to the conservation and education of their local environment!
5:20 a.m. Meet with the guide at the local bakery in Puerto Jimenez (you can buy breakfast and snacks for the hike here).
5:30 a.m. Shared taxi from Puerto Jimenez to Carate.
8:00 a.m. Carate - La Leona - Sirena hike, 20 Km through the rainforest and on the beach (7-9 hours).
3:00-5:00 p.m. Arrival at the Sirena Biological Station.*
6:30 p.m. Dinner at Sirena
8:00 p.m. Lights out, spend the night at the station.
5:00 a.m. Early morning hike to the Sirena River.
