Op zoek naar een unieke en meeslepende culturele ervaring? Verken het hart van het Talamanca inheemse gebied aan de bovenloop van de Yorkin-rivier. Vertrekkend vanuit het dorp Bambú, maak je een reis in een traditionele uitgeholde kano naar de Yorkin-gemeenschap.

Eenmaal daar heb je de kans om deel te nemen aan het dagelijks leven, interpretatieve paden te wandelen met inheemse gidsen, lokaal voedsel te proeven en folklore uit oude tijden te leren. Je krijgt een diepgaand begrip van het Bribri-volk en hun manier van leven.

Na een dag van verkenning en leren, breng je de nacht door in de traditionele lodge van de gemeenschap, waardoor je jezelf nog verder onderdompelt in de lokale cultuur. De volgende dag vertrek je per kano met een nieuw begrip van het Bribri-volk en hun manier van leven.

Couple of day in the real Costa Rica

Our group of 12 people with 6 kids visit the Yorkin community and we spend one night there. Milton and Maura was amazing host and they help us and the kids to feel the real life into the forest. I suggest to anyone who want to visit the real Costa Rica life to stay with them a couple of days.

Experience of a life time

We stayed one night at the finca Integrale yismai. It just was amazing. What a lovely family ... We loved every minute. If you have the chance, just go: you can learn so much about the bribri culture: their language, their way to live, their passion for the environment, the traditional way of making chocolate. Its an 1 hour fantastic boot ride there. The food, the accomadation and the hospitalitility where all outstanding. We went there as family ... it was an incredible experience.
