Imagine taking a dip in the crystal-clear rivers, hiking 16 miles (26 km) and visiting a white-tailed deer conservation project.
Along the way, you'll also have the opportunity to learn about the traditional medicine practices of the local community. This once-in-a-lifetime adventure will take you to Los Molinos, La Ventana, Los Sabinos Park, and Las Pavas stream, where you'll get a taste of authentic local life in the Sierra Norte.

The tour begins in Oaxaca City, where you will take private transport and head to the community of Capulalpam in the Sierra Norte of Oaxaca. You will meet your local guide to start your hike to “Los Molinos” park and enjoy the incredible views at "La Ventana." Take a dip in a crystalline river, and enjoy the local gastronomy at the Molinos Restaurant. After lunch, you will visit the Environmental Management Unit of the white-tailed deer, where you will learn about the conservation efforts of the community and then head to the cabin area to to rest and eat dinner in the magic town of Capulalpam.

With the first rays of the sun, a new day welcomes us! It is time to prepare the backpacks and go down to the local restaurant where a nutritious breakfast awaits you. You will meet your local guide to start your hike along the route "El Embudo." The hike begins with a visit to the "Los Sabinos" park, a historical place for the community, continuing along the old royal road that leads to the "El Rincón" area and up to the "Las Pavas" stream, where the transition to the mesophilic forest begins, an area of high conservation for the community. You will eat lunch at the camp and then head back to Oaxaca to continue your adventures through Mexico.
