With the first rays of the sun, a new day welcomes us! It is time to prepare the backpacks and go down to the local restaurant where a nutritious breakfast awaits you. You will meet your local guide to start your hike along the route "El Embudo." The hike begins with a visit to the "Los Sabinos" park, a historical place for the community, continuing along the old royal road that leads to the "El Rincón" area and up to the "Las Pavas" stream, where the transition to the mesophilic forest begins, an area of high conservation for the community.
Without a doubt, a hike that will allow you to enjoy the unmissable landscapes of the Sierra Norte. After lunch you will have free time. We recommend you to visit the traditional medicine center and enjoy a Temascal (traditional ritual bath performed with the steam produced by aromatic and medicinal herbs, emerging from previously heated volcanic stones). Additional costs required for optional post-lunch activities. You'll spend the night at the Cabins of Capulalpam, a small community in the mountains.
