Book it!

If you're debating whether to do this tour or not, take this as a sign to go ahead and book it. We had a an amazing time with Community Tours Sian Ka'an and our tour guide, Memo. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and we learned so much about the Sian Ka'an reserve. Floating around the canal was a beautiful and carefree experience that I would recommend to all. We also had a delicious meal at the community center. Come prepared with a rashguard/surf shirt and a hat since you can't wear sunscreen. You won't regret this experience!

One of the Highlights of Our Trip

This was absolutely one of our highlights of our time in the Tulum area. To be able to appreciate the indigenous population of the area and understand more about there history is so special aside from the fact that it is beautiful and a whole lot of fun. There is so much to know about their history and culture, and we really appreciated having Omar as our guide, and his enthusiasm to share more about the canals and the area. The canal float was amazing, and beautiful, the reserve is full of so many beautiful animals. We got lucky and were able to see a couple of manatees up close. The boat ride in itself was a fun adventure. To top it all off with a delicious dinner, I can't say enough about how much we loved this tour.
