This two-day immersive journey into the Sierra Norte of Oaxaca centers on sensory reconnection and ancestral Zapotec wellness within the "Pueblo Mágico" of Capulálpam de Méndez. The experience begins with a unique "barefoot" forest walk designed to ground participants in the natural energy of the mountains, followed by a deep dive into traditional medicine. Under the care of the Manos que Curan collective, guests undergo a transformative ritual featuring a medicinal temazcal steam bath, a healing massage, and an energetic cleansing.
The second day transitions from spiritual restoration to active exploration, featuring a 6–8 km trek through the "Enchanted Forest." After climbing to the La Ventana viewpoint for panoramic vistas, the trail descends to the banks of the Los Molinos river for a refreshing swim and a final meal of authentic local cuisine. Combining moderate physical activity with profound cultural healing, the retreat offers a holistic escape that balances the rugged beauty of the Oaxacan highlands with the ancient wisdom of its people.

Upon arrival, we meet our local guide, who will lead us on a gentle walk through the forest. Ideally, this walk is done barefoot, inviting a deep connection with Mother Nature. Feeling the earth beneath your feet, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and listening to the sounds of local wildlife creates a powerful sensory experience. This walk offers a unique opportunity to reconnect with the natural energy of the Sierra Norte and fully experience its magic.
