Hike in - boat out! This full peninsula discoveryexperience in the Corcovado National Park will take you on an incredible hike along the coastlines and into the rainforest of the Osa Peninsula, and finishes with an epic boat ride into Drake Bay. From land to sea, this experience offers a full look into the magical rainforest of the Osa Peninsula.
5:20 a.m. Meet with the guide at the local bakery in Puerto Jimenez (you can buy breakfast and snacks for the hike here).
5:30 a.m. Shared taxi from Puerto Jimenez to Carate.
8:00 a.m. Carate - La Leona - Sirena hike, 20 Km through the rainforest and on the beach (7-9 hours).
3:00-5:00 p.m. Arrival at the Sirena Biological Station.*
6:30 p.m. Dinner at Sirena
8:00 p.m. Lights out, spend the night at the station.
5:00 a.m. Early morning hike to the Sirena River.
6:30 a.m. Breakfast at Sirena
8:00 a.m. Hiking the trails around Sirena (you can choose from seven different trails, once you're there).
11:30 a.m. Pick up your things at the station and head towards the beach.
12:00-1.00 p.m. Boat pick-up at Sirena Beach.
1:30-2:00 p.m. Arrival at Drake, end of the tour.
