Explore Las Labradas Petroglyphs, the only petroglyph site located on the beach in the Americas and known as one of the most ancient cultural expressions in northern Mexico. This archeological site features over two hundred drawings carved on volcanic rocks by ancient nomadic cultures. You will also be able to learn more about the region while visiting the Las Labradas museum and take a relaxing break on the beautiful beach.
8:00 AM: You will be picked up at your hotel (exact time may vary depending on your hotel location).
8:20 AM: You will then start heading to the archeological site.
9:00AM: After you arrive at the archaeological site, you will first visit the site's museum, where you will hear a brief lecture on the site's natural and archaeological history.
9:30 AM: You will be welcomed by the local hosts and will then do a group activity to learn about the natural protected area and conservation efforts taking place in the area.
10:00 AM: Next, your guide will show you around Las Labradas petroglyphs
11:30 AM: You will then have time to relax on the beach. You can swim or take a walk along the isolated beach.
12:30 PM: Lastly, you will have lunch with a local family.
1:30 PM: You will start heading back to Mazatlan.
2:15 PM: You will be dropped off at your hotel.
