Extreme Forest Park

Providencia de Dota, Costa Rica

Extreme Forest Park

Half Day |

Reach heights of 40 meters in The Extreme Forest Park, located in Providencia de Dota, an environmentally friendly town just two hours away from San Jose. This is a place where you will experience adventure, mental relaxation, and have the change to help in an organized community that enjoys tourism and conserving the environment.

There are 6 different activities to awaken you senses, developed throughout the forest. Start by climbing a strangler fig tree from the inside, giving you a chance to view the forest canopy from the top. Next, rappel 50 meters back to solid ground and try the Monkey bridge, where you will use your balancing skills to walk across a slackline 50 meters above the ground. After a self-guided trail, go on the Tarzan Swing, a 70 meter long canopy cable. Next, rappel another 25 meters back to the ground and end your extreme adventure on the Jungle Fly, where you will soar through the forest 15 meters above the ground.

Awesome way to end our trip!

I visited Costa Rica in August with 6 friends. The 7 of us had a great time at the Extreme Forest Park with David as our guide. Jefferson was also extremely responsive to any questions we had while booking. He was also very helpful when we needed to change the original date due to travel issues. The road through the Quetzal National Park is rocky but totally worth it! We had the best time and were hysterical laughing through all of adrenaline rushing activities. We worked up an appetite for a delicious lunch and David showed us beautiful waterfalls and the coffee production areas of the village. After a week of relaxing, surfing, and exploring other parts of Costa Rica this was the perfect last activity of our trip! Thanks again!!
